Wow I just went over and read some of Nate’s blog post on the double lung transplant. My brother’s first wife had CF and ended up having a double lung-heart transplant. The years she lived after that were such great ones for her. She died when she was 36 which is old for a CF patient. I will definately be praying as this is something in my experience that I lived through and that touches my heart…
Thanks for your prayers, Ellen. While I’m not Nate and Tricia, I’d think that any time they have after now is “gravy.” We’ll pray that she remains infection and rejection free and has lots of time for “gravy,” if you will…
You commented on my cat’s blog (Gandalf & Grayson) and considering the content of your post I thought I’d take it, as sweet as my kitties are.
I read quite a few posts on your blog and Nate’s and I just wanted to let you know that I am adding the donor’s family, and Trica, Nate and their families to my prayers. I know that God is Good and Faithful. Only He know our purpose here on this earth in these bodies, and only He knows the day and the hour of our deaths. We pray, but He knows. He holds us all in His loving Hands. Blessings to you all.

Hey! I got your e-mail. It’s all good. 🙂 Thank you for your prayers…
BTW, I’m from Georgia, too!
I will surely keep Tricia in my thoughts and prayers.
